As an extension of our existing investment strategy, which focuses on funding small businesses, Triple Point has provided funding for a number of Social Enterprise companies. Providing funds to these companies helps them achieve their missions and provides not only financial returns for investors, but also social benefits.
Our strategy for social investment is a continuation of the one we use when funding small businesses. It is built around identifying the right opportunities, and using our rigorous risk management processes. These focus on selecting enterprises for funding which meet our key criteria: the ability to generate strong cash flows and a clear exit strategy. In addition, given the social nature of these investments, we also conduct an assessment of the social impact that can be delivered by the enterprise.
