Triple Point is pleased to announce that is has completed the fundraising for PJC Renewable Energy Limited an EIS qualifying company raising £5m, an electricity generating company that will construct a ground mounted solar PV farm in Hertfordshire.
Triple Point has been funding ground mount solar PV companies since 2013, with £16m of EIS funding completed so far for 3 plants.
The plant, which will stand on approximately 40 acres of land and comprise 37,000 solar PV panels, will generate an annual electricity output of c.9.3 MW. This will be enough to power approximately 2,600 homes for a year.
The plant will earn revenues from both the generation of electricity (through ROC payments) and from the export of electricity to the grid. ROC revenues are inflation-linked via an established governmental framework.
Our funding in the solar sector is a further example of how Triple Point continues to target opportunities that create value for our investors.
