Investment Strategy

Triple Point VCT 2011 plc is a Venture Capital Trust incorporated in July 2010. The Investment Manager is Triple Point Investment Management LLP. The Triple Point VCT 2011 plc was established to fund small and medium sized enterprises. After the exit of the Ordinary Share Class in January 2018, it now has two share classes with separate portfolios. The overall portfolio comprised investments in 12 small, unquoted companies focussing investments in two areas; electricity generation and SME funding.

Venture Shares (Venture Fund)

The Venture share class (The Venture Fund) targets significant capital growth by investing in innovative businesses that are solving real-world corporate challenges.

A Shares (Hydro)

On 30 April 2015 the A Share Class offer closed having raised £10.3 million with a total of 9,951,133 A Shares being issued. This share class has its own distinct investment strategy funding a portfolio of hydroelectric schemes in Scotland.

B Shares

On 29 April 2016 the B Share Class offer closed having raised £6.97m with a total of 6,824,266 B Shares being issued. The B share class is a limited life offering, fully invested in two companies operating individual gas fired energy centres, with a further investment in a company focused on providing short and medium-term funding to a wide range of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
