PPE: Gateshead NHS Trust first to make its own masks

Great to see BBC coverage of the production line machine making PPE Respirator Masks for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead, funded by one of the leasing companies managed by Triple Point.
This will increase self-sufficiency and resilience as well as speed up deployment times. The machine has been specifically designed and configured to produce a special FFP3 mask that the NHS has designed, and incorporates a head-band that is a unique feature not currently supplied elsewhere.
Leasing this machine through TP Leasing Limited has allowed the Trust to spread the cost of acquisition over a five year period and benefit from the mask production straight away.
“This is just another way that Triple Point is creating impact for our communities and key workers, whilst offering our investors access to a unique market sector” Comments , Head of Public Sector Leasing at Triple Point.
