Triple Point Capital Finance

Triple Point's managed capital funds provide finance for a range of businesses and ventures from private equity investments in small, start up businesses to asset finance for large organisations. Outlined below are a few example investments we have made.

Anaerobic Digestion

Triple Point has provided the finance for the construction and development of anaerobic digestion plants. These plants will generate electricity and heat from biomass products and biogas. This will be sold to electricity utility companies via a National Grid connection, or a business located close to the generators. The plants are likely to operate for in excess of 20 years and will benefit from revenues underwritten by the Feed-in Tariff framework.

Cinema Digitisation

We have funded companies that provide and run digital projection systems in UK and European cinemas. Until very recently, most film distribution was still by celluloid reels. Cinemas are now converting their projection equipment to digital systems. The major film studios are also keen for the conversion to digital equipment as they benefit from the economies of digital film distribution, the opportunity to expand 3D capability and enhanced security.

Managed Telephony Services

Triple Point has backed a new business providing managed telephony services. The company provides crucial elements of a long term contract to a major public sector body. The attractions of this business include predictable, long term revenue streams under contract from a high quality and creditworthy customer.

Refuse Collection Vehicle Lease

The Triple Point group has successfully established an attractive niche as a provider of public sector lease finance, typically leasing essential equipment such as refuse collection vehicles.  A typical Triple Point lease is an operating lease with a large Local Authority in the North of England. The Authority leases a fleet of four refuse collection vehicles for their environmental services organisation for a primary lease term of 5 years. Leasing enables organisations to access assets without the need for a significant upfront capital outlay.
