Capital Finance Team
Triple Point’s capital finance team is led by James Cranmer, Michael Bayer and Ian McLennan. The team includes individuals with experience in asset finance, private equity, corporate finance and investment analysis.
Michael Bayer
A Chartered Accountant, Michael manages Triple Point’s Corporate Finance department. Michael joined Triple Point from 3i where he was responsible for a broad range of investment activities, principally in the SME sector. Prior to 3i Michael was with Ernst & Young’s Corporate Finance practice and private equity at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein
James Cranmer
James directs the investment origination process. Previously at Cranmer Lawrence, he was responsible for originations from Local Authorities, the NHS and FTSE 100 companies. Prior to this he was with Hambros Bank, and latterly Societé Générale, where he was responsible for the management of public sector vendor finance activities.
Ian McLennan
Ian has 23 years' experience of investment analysis and portfolio management. A Chartered Financial Analyst, Ian was previously global equity strategist for Brevan Howard LLP, Europe’s largest hedge fund. Prior to that he held the same role as managing director at UBS AG, having spent many years in Asia researching the region’s stock markets. Ian leads Triple Point’s Renewable Energy Group.
