Oxford University educated, a Chartered Accountant and a distinguished member of the tax bar named Tax Lawyer of the Year in 2004, Michael has been involved with the financial services industry for 25 years. He is a Member of the Bar Council and was previously Treasurer of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (ICAEW), and before that Chairman of its Tax Faculty. He is a director of a number of unquoted companies.

A graduate of Durham University, an AIMR CFA charter holder and a former managing director of Goldman Sachs, David has over 15 years of experience as a specialist investor in UK and European companies, first with Mercury Asset Management and then with Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he was jointly responsible for portfolios with a value of up to £10 billion.

Samuel before joining Morgan Grenfell, subsequently Deutsche
Bank, spending 16 years in structured finance. Specialising in
European securitisations, Claire was a Managing Director of
Deutsche Bank and a member of the European Securitisation
Forum’s reporting and regulatory committees.

A graduate of Warwick University and a Chartered Accountant, Mike spent seven years with Ernst & Young, specialising in corporate finance, and subsequently joined Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein to focus on private equity transactions. In 2000, Mike joined 3i plc where, as a senior investment manager, he had responsibility for a broad range of investment and management activities. Whilst at 3i, Mike was personally involved in investments with aggregate realised value uplifts of over £300 million.

A graduate of St Andrews University, James spent seven years as a principal with the specialist asset finance boutique Cranmer Lawrence & Company where he was responsible for lease originations in excess of £500m into UK Local Authorities, NHS Trust Hospitals and FTSE 100 organisations. Prior to this, James spent five years with Hambros Bank, latterly SG, where he was responsible for the management of the public sector vendor finance activities.

An Oxford University graduate and Chartered Accountant, Peter is a former Partner of Ernst & Young and Director of Royal Bank of Canada Trust Corporation Limited. The only non-lawyer on the Jersey Law Commission, Peter acts personally as a Director of trading companies, as a Trustee and Executor and is Company Secretary of the majority of Triple Point’s managed VCTs.

An experienced entrepreneur, Alexis worked for many years at LSE listed conglomerate Magellan plc where he held a number of senior roles and was managing director of several group subsidiaries. He left to participate in a Schroders backed management buy-in to Fii Group plc, one of the UK's largest listed shoe businesses. In recent years he has invested in and developed companies in the fields of security equipment, IT training and event management software. He was also the lead investor behind the management buy-in to Sinclair Pharmaceuticals which floated in 2004.

Chris joined Triple Point in 2008 from the leading hedge fund investment house, GAM, where he was responsible for ultra high net worth client and professional advisor relationships in London and a number of offshore financial centres. Chris has 14 years investment experience and, prior to GAM, spent six years with Schroders Private Bank, specialising in portfolio management. Chris is a Fellow of the Securities Institute.
